Crafted in close collaboration with The Bob Marley Foundation, the collection is a celebration of football and the musical icon.

The Bob Marley Foundation provided careful consultation, archival photographs, and historical clothing synonymous with the musician — including the lilac firebird track pants worn whilst touring Europe, reimagined for this collection.

Powerful design motifs that draw inspiration from Bob Marley’s life and extensive music catalogue are featured throughout. This includes a distinctive, repetitive wave pattern that flows across the designs – symbolically linking the rhythm of his music and the spirit of Jamaica.

Stand-out pieces from the collection include the ‘Football Freedom’ Jersey, which is designed in the yellow of the national flag’s saltire. The base of the jersey is engineered with a flowing wave motif combined with the ‘MARLEY’ name. A ‘Football is Freedom’ graphic in yellow and emerald green completes the front of the jersey’s design.

The “Football is Freedom” mantra was developed closely with the Bob Marley Foundation and is integrated into hero pieces such as the golden yellow jersey and full-zip jacket, integrating his deep love of the game and belief in its liberating power.

Each piece is bound via the adidas Originals’ trefoil that sits on opposing sides to the word ‘Bob’ embroidered in a calligraphy style.

The full-zip track Jacket and track pants blend classic athletic style and contemporary fashion; the jacket hosts the same bold ‘Football Freedom’ graphic across the back panel. The full-zip track jacket comes in emerald green and is paired with purple trackpants.

The collection also includes a dress and short-sleeve T-shirt striped in the colors of green, gold, and red alongside wave-patterned red shorts, two iterations of crew socks, and a unique adidas bowler bag in brown and white.

“This is more than just a partnership to us, it’s a landmark moment that signifies unity, inspiration, and the spirit of Bob Marley on the global stage. His unwavering belief in the power of our people’s lives on and through this collection, the fans can carry the pride of Jamaica,” shared Cedella Marley, CEO at The Bob Marley Foundation.

The joyous collection pays homage to the legacy of one of music’s greatest icons while celebrating The Bob Marley Foundation and its positive impact for under-served and vulnerable communities in Jamaica. The foundation has been extensively involved in serving those most heavily impacted by Hurricane Melissa, a relief effort which adidas has supplemented via donations, as the long-term effects continue to be felt.

Marley has long been cited as a reason modern football is considered “cool”. His character, his presence, and his style influenced not only musicians but footballers alike. This collection honors Marley’s legacy- whether it was on the mic or on the pitch.

The Bob Marley x Adidas collection is available now via adidas.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
