adidas Originals and NYC-based streetwear brand Avirex reunite for the second installment of their ongoing collaboration, introducing the black colorway of the Avirex Superstar.
Grounded in adidas Superstar’s basketball roots and Avirex’s undeniable influence on New York City’s streetwear heritage, this latest release celebrates two brands that continue to pave the way for self-expression across generations.

Featuring The Bronx native, St. John’s guard and adidas NIL athlete, Ian Jackson, and NYC-based DJ Nyla Symone, the Spring 2026 campaign captures the energy of New York City, where basketball and street style intersect. The Superstar, a timeless symbol of originality, is elevated through Avirex’s signature leatherwork and bold detailing.

To celebrate the launch, adidas and Avirex will host a pop-up activation on Saturday, March 21st at the newly opened adidas Store in Soho (135 Spring Street), inviting the community to experience and purchase the Avirex Superstar firsthand just in time for the opening weekend of the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament.
The adidas Originals x Avirex Superstar retails for $180 and will be available beginning on Saturday, March 21st, exclusively on the CONFIRMED app and at the adidas Store in Soho.
