Kader Sylla’s signature sneaker is headed on a world tour.

Since signing to adidas Skateboarding in 2021, Kader has brought his distinct style and personality to the three stripes. That style is felt all over the Kader- Sylla’s debut sneaker with adidas Skateboarding.

Bringing his positivity and flair to a silhouette tailored for his personal taste and specific skateboarding demands, Kader worked closely with adidas designers to challenge conventions and bring his perspective to the process. The design draws heavily from a 90s adidas Equipment basketball model, reflecting Kader’s long-standing interest in the mid-top basketball silhouettes of the era.

In hand, the approach by Sylla on his debut sneaker comes together further.

Kader’s influence is particularly visible in the model’s non-traditional approach to design, with the lacing system reinterpreting the Three Stripes as an expression of the brand’s signature mark. A considered mix of materials and colors adds unexpected dimension to the archival-inspired style.

“I wanted to make something that felt like me and that I’d actually want to wear every day,” says Kader Sylla. “We looked at a lot of different references and kept pushing until it felt right. It’s built for skating, but it doesn’t feel limited to the skatepark. I’m excited for people to experience it and take it wherever they go.”

The resulting mid-top signature model pairs a cupsole construction with a full-length Lightmotion midsole for impact response, while a suede upper with adituff underlays delivers added strike durability. Elasticated tongue wings help keep the foot locked in place, bringing together performance-driven construction with Kader’s distinctive aesthetic.

The first North American leg travels through Minneapolis, Des Moines, Kansas City, Denver, and Los Angeles from October 1–17, bringing Kader into local skate communities through demos, street skating, skateshop appearances, and community events. Highlights include:

  • Minneapolis | October 2–4: Kader kicks off the tour by meeting the local skate community through a Familia Demo and street skating, setting the tone for a journey rooted in connection and shared skate culture.

  • Des Moines | October 5–6: Kader brings the tour into the city’s skate scene through sessions at Des Moines Park and a visit to Subsect Shop, connecting with locals throughout.

  • Kansas City | October 7–8: Kader continues with an Escapist Demo and shop appearance, using the stop to engage directly with local skaters and bring the new signature model into the community.

  • Denver | October 9–12: Kader heads to Colorado for a 303 Demo and will explore the landscape around Red Rocks and local culture.

  • Los Angeles | October 13–17: The North American leg comes full circle in Kader’s hometown, where he celebrates the launch with a Supreme event before closing the tour with a community gathering at Stoner Skatepark, returning to the city that has been central to his journey as a skateboarder.

The tour will continue across Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia, and beyond through 2027, with stories from each stop brought to life across Kader’s YouTube channel and adidas brand channels. Priced at $110 USD / €110 EUR, the Kader signature model is available at skate specialty retailers worldwide and at adidas.com/skateboarding.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
