Rodeo season is here, and Active Athlete has gone full cowboy.
Opened in 1988, making it Houston’s oldest streetwear store, Active Athlete reunites to celebrate the culture, grit, and legacy of Texas with the launch of the exclusive Lone Star Reppin’ Superstar. Following the success of last year’s collaboration, adidas set out to go even bigger this spring, introducing a shoe that honors western heritage across the entire Lone Star State.

The shoe captures the enduring spirit of Texas and the welcoming energy that defines its communities. While rooted in Houston, the design embraces the broader culture of the South, celebrating those who embody the resilience and ambition of the modern cowboy and cowgirl, individuals who push boundaries, discover new frontiers, and are always repping the Lone Star state.

Details include a custom belt buckle, four interchangeable lace options, turquoise accents, and cowboy-boot-inspired stitching running through the classic 3-Stripes. Additional elements such as a cowhide-print insole, a metal Cowboy/Cowgirl boot hangtag, and raised “Lone Star Reppin’” lettering on the heel further reinforce the shoe’s tribute to southern heritage and pride.
The Active Athlete and adidas Superstar II “Lone Star Repping” is available now via Active Athlete.
