Kai is so back.
In late September, basketball fans and Mavericks fans alike got the news that they had been waiting to hear: Kyrie is officially cleared with no restrictions. Over a year after suffering a devastating ACL injury, Kyrie will be making his return to the court in the upcoming NBA China Games in Macao.
To celebrate his glorious return to the court, ANTA will release two new Kyrie Irving signature colorways on October 10: the KAI 3 “Macao Hearts” and KAIBRID “Macau Spades.” Inspired by the bright lights, iconic skyline, and high-stakes energy of Macao, the collection draws a parallel between basketball and the card table: patience, calculation, instinct, and knowing exactly when to go all-in.
The Kai 3 “Hearts” uses a red base to represent Kyrie’s unconditional love for the game of basketball.
The sneaker comes alive in fluorescent red, grounded in black and elevated with shimmering metallic gold and color-shifting overlays. Pops of color along the outsole reinforce the idea that true passion cannot be contained by boundaries.
Meanwhile, the Kaibrid “Spades” utilizes blue to represent the calm and collected poise of leadership. Inspired by Macao’s skyline and electric nightlife, the KAIBRID “Spades” features pearlized finishes, speckled textures, and metallic accents that give the silhouette an elevated finish.
“Hearts” and “Spades” mark the opening hand of ANTA’s four-shoe Macao Pack, which will ultimately feature Macao-inspired editions of the KAI 1, KAI 2, KAI 3 and KAIBRID. The KAI 3 “Hearts” and KAIBRID “Spades” are just the beginning of this epic comeback pack for Kyrie.
Both the Kyrie 3 “Hearts” and the Kaibrid “Spades” release on October 10th. The Kai 3 will launch via Anta.com, while the Kaibrid will launch exclusively via ANTA Beverly Hills.
