The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Neutral Grey†will release in the SoleSavy store on July 21st at a TBD time that evening.
This quickstrike is going to be a little bit different than before where we would open the store and let everyone have at it. I want to try something new to ensure a more equal and fair distribution across all members. We have a couple hundred pairs of these and I dont think a raffle is needed.
How we plan to release the shoes:
- Open the member store on a FCFS basis with a new store password
- The shoes will be retail + tax + shipping
- Use a rolling release windows, so each community gets a specific time to purchase with a unique store password to them
- Hypothetically lets say the time window will be up to 10 minutes.
- We are allocating inventory based on the amount of members in the community to ensure there’s a fair amount compared to the user account
- While I would love to do 10% inventory to member ratio, its just not possible so we’re doing 4-5%
- You can expect to have roughly 40 pairs to be available (give or take per community) depending on the size break.
- After the time window to purchase is over, the store password will change, we will reset the inventory and then move on to another community.
- Sizes available will be 4Y to 15 mens.
- You of course can only purchase in your member size (give or take a half size +/-) and you can not purchase for someone else.
Thats my idea and plan^. If you think it’s dumb, let us know. We have time to change this but I thought it would be a good way to do this as we grow to ensure no one gets left feeling left out.
