Can you feel it in the air?
We are officially two months away from kick-off at the incomparable Estadio Azteca. Two months from now, the best footballers in the world will be representing their countries in the biggest tournament in sports. For the first time since 1994, the FIFA 2026 World Cup will be taking place in North America. Naturally, Nike had to show out with the kits- after all, the tournament is in the Beaverton brand’s backyard.
Show out they did. Nike has delivered some great kits ahead of the big tournament. From classic designs to bold new looks, the spectrum in which Nike operated when designing these kits is truly impressive.
Naturally, as we took a look at the collection of kits, the team began picking their favorites. Our friends over at The Footy Culture joined in on the fun and helped us rank the kits appropriately.
You can find our picks below.

There will always be a classic feeling to any Oranje kit. The bright orange kit will always feel nostalgic. Between the curvatures of the kit’s design and the giant crest hit, this kit feels classic and fresh- without having to overcomplicate anything.
9. Brazil Home Kit

The verde amarela never misses.
In a similar vein to the Dutch kit, the 2026 Brazil kit is classic and hits in all the ways you would expect a Brazil home kit to hit.
8. Croatia Home Kit

We will never get tired of Croatia’s checkered kits.
The 2026 kit features a gradient design down the middle that will look great on the field during Croatia’s Group L matchups.
A collared football kit is as classic as it gets.
The French football dynasty will arrive in the tournament once again as favorites to win the whole thing. And they will do so in a stylish kit.
The compliment to the stars in their away kit, the striped home kit feels like the USMNT’s best kit in years. The wave design to the stripes, meant to mimic a waving flag, is among the coolest design details of any kit in the tournament.
England’s away kit is retro meets modern in effect.
From the center crest to the piping on the sleeves, this England kit screams 90’s. The centered blue swoosh pops so well, too.
The fact that Korea is using purple as a kit design is fantastic.
That is even before getting into the floral design that overlays the kit, which is inspired by traditional Korean art.
Canada has absolutely shown out with their kits, as a host nation should. Canada will hit the pitch in these black kits that are inspired by the country’s wintery landscape. Simply put, the Canadian Federation’s away kit is ice cold.
Brazil’s away kit is truly monumental. The first Jordan Brand jersey to dress a federation is an accomplishment on its own, never mind the fact that they executed it so well. This will surely be a crossover kit, and one we expect to be worn by neutral and casual football fans. Rightfully so- it’s that good.
Uruguay’s rich football history collided with Nike only recently when the federation signed in 2024. Two years later, the partnership is delivering a stunning kit. Uruguay’s away perfectly encapsulates the design language of this collection of kits from Nike. Yes, the technology features Nike’s latest Dri-Fit technology, but the design feels classic and of another era. This kit is a far departure from Uruguay’s typical and more classic approach to kits. And boy, the risk has paid off. This kit is an instant classic.
