Though the Bucks do not have a deep connection to Jordan’s career, like the aforementioned teams that constantly clashed with the Bulls, they share a connection via a special NBA talent. That talent is Ray Allen. Drafted by the Timberwolves in 1996, the player was immediately traded to the Bucks. Along the way, Allen became one of the first Team Jordan superstars. This era of players got exclusive sneakers that became a collector’s dream.

Only the richest and luckiest of sneakerheads got a chance to touch a Ray Allen P.E., but that changes this weekend.

As the celebration of the Air Jordan 12’s 30th Anniversary continues, the latest “Bucks” Air Jordan 12 brings a new palette to the sneaker. All the while, allowing a taste of sneaker history and a taste of early Jordan Brand history for fans.

The Air Jordan 12 “Bucks” launches tomorrow, September 12th, via Nike and participating Jordan Brand retailers like JD Sports.
