Jordan Brand’s etched design is now gracing the Air Jordan 3.
In 2005, Jordan Brand launched a pair of Air Jordan 4s with an etched all-over print- dubbed the “Laser” Air Jordan 4 pack. Three years later, the design appeared in its most widely available retro silhouette, the Air Jordan 1. That 2008 pair paired the design with premium materials, creating a shoe that felt luxurious while introducing the Laser style into another sneaker.
For months, there have been whispers that the Laser line would be returning soon. Last night, Jordan Brand confirmed it- by surprising us all with the Air Jordan 3 Laser.

The Air Jordan 3 “Laser” is built around the idea that greatness is made up of countless details.
Across the upper, laser-etched illustrations create a visual narrative inspired by the interests, achievements, and cultural moments that have defined Michael Jordan’s journey. Each graphic serves as a tribute to the influences that helped shape a global icon, encouraging wearers to discover something new every time they look closer.
The sneaker’s execution only grows from there, though. Premium tumbled leather and low-pile suede provide a refined foundation for the intricate artwork, while the Air Jordan 3’s timeless design preserves the comfort and heritage that made the silhouette a legend.
The Air Jordan 3 “Laser” is expected to launch in August.
