This weekend you’ll be able to grab the bull by the horns for the first time since 2013.

The Toro Bravo theme became a hit when Jordan Brand launched the Raging Bull pack in 2009. That collection, which featured two pairs of the Air Jordan 5, came from the era of collector packs from Jordan Brand. Both pairs were loved by fans, but the hype that surrounded the Toro Bravo pair was impressive.

The Toro Bravo 5 was everywhere- from the court to on the feet of your favorite rappers. The “fighting bull” energy that followed Michael Jordan through his career was channeled perfectly through the pair. The sneaker’s iconic red upper was undeniable. The Toro Bravo 5 became as close to an instant hit as a sneaker can get.

Four years later, Jordan Brand would bring the colorway back, this time on the fan favorite Air Jordan Four. Mind you, this launch was in 2013, years before SNKRS, years before online shopping became the billion-dollar industry it is today.

The original Air Jordan Four ‘Toro Bravo’ launch occurred during the golden age of sneakerheads’ campouts. The times were when sneakerheads would camp outside of stores overnight for their chance at that week’s coveted release. And boy, was this sneaker coveted.

Much like the Jordan Five, the Jordan Four ‘Toro Bravo’ was a hit upon arrival. The bold red, the black accents, and the classic Air Jordan silhouette were a match made in heaven. This week, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Toro Bravo’ will see its first retro release ever. Thirteen years since first arriving, the sneaker is being welcomed with open arms.

The sneaker returns in its bullish glory. The red upper brings the same heat, the same feelings, that the classic 2013 pair did. Staying true to form, the Nike Air cushioning in the heel and forefoot softens your step. Original design elements—like floating eyestays and mesh-like panels—make it feel as fresh as it did in ’89.

The Toro Bravo Four holds a special place in many sneakerhead hearts. The sneaker, which is returning for the first time, will surely be seen around your streets this summer. After all, a Jordan Four is a fan favorite for a reason. The Air Jordan Four ‘Toro Bravo’ launches this Saturday, May 30th, via Nike and participating Air Jordan retailers like Foot Locker.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
