The New Balance 1890 has had a heck of a 2026. The archival silhouette has been graced by the presence of New Balance’s biggest collaborative partners. Now, the model is standing on its own.
Praised for its versatility and comfort, the 1890 has arrived in several colorways over the year. This latest collection is bold, arriving in a blue colorway or a red colorway. As classic as those can be, they both are arriving with a bit of a twist.
This Blue Fairweather colorway may become one of your staples thanks to its tonal blocking. It is broken up by the hit of candied violet around the toe. That said, the red pair comes with a more familiar twist for New Balance fans. The Team Red colorway arrives with the same tonal colorblocking. Much like its blue counterpart, though, the pop of color arrives on the toe with the use of pink to break up the red throughout the sneaker.
Both of these latest colorways of the 1890 arrive on New Balance this upcoming Wednesday, August 26th.
