Nike has introduced the Nike Ava X, an upgrade to the versatile Ava Rover.
When the Rover launched last Summer, the sneaker quickly grabbed the attention of sneaker heads who aimed to prioritize comfort.
The Ava Rover was designed for city streets and used Nike’s ReactX foam cushioning to ensure maximum comfort and stability. The sneaker wasn’t just comfortable, though. It was stylish thanks to its fashion-forward design. In both comfort and style, the Ava Rover was a success. Now, Nike is launching the Ava X, which aims to pick up where the Rover left off.

The Ava X features a sleeker, less bulky upper design than its predecessor. Nike approached the upper change from an angle of “less is more.” The result is a slimmer upper design. This makes the Ava X easier to throw on and easier to pack for your next adventure. The updates do not stop at an upper redesign, though.
The Ava X also features a more responsive Cushlon 3.0 midsole. Elsewhere on the sneaker, the outsole features a textured rubber to optimize grip and durability. These upgrades are, obviously, welcomed for a sneaker that is meant to see a lot of wear- and a lot of miles.
The Nike Ava X did not need to reinvent the wheel. The sneaker space welcomed the Rover with open arms; now the Ava X is rewarding that support with a sneaker that is ready to take you across the city.
