Joe Fresh Goods’ latest retail and community space is close to opening it’s doors, and it’s going to do so with a special sneaker launch.

Last year, New Balance and JFG celebrated a 10-year partnership with the “Aged Well” 992. The pastel-aged effect was a hit with fans. It was the perfect way to celebrate a fruitful partnership that has introduced new life into the Boston brand.

In the weeks that followed the successful “Aged Well” collection, fans began to catch easter eggs to another 992 from Joe. That 992 appeared in pastels, too, this time in shades of green. About a year since first surfacing, we finally know the story behind this pastel-green 992. A special launch that continues the legacy of Joe Fresh Goods.

Joe is one of the faces of American streetwear with a storied career in the culture and the style of Chicago streetwear. Having had many spaces throughout his career, locals and streetwear fans alike celebrated the announcement of ” Every Now and Then”, the retail and community space that Joe will open in Chicago this month.

Such a monumental return to retail meant Joe had to celebrate in style. And that he did. The long-teased, long-anticipated, pastel-green 992 is not a JFG collab, by name at least, but rather a collaboration with Every Now and Then to celebrate the space’s opening this month.

The sneaker borrows the design language from Joe’s 10th anniversary celebration sneaker in the “Aged Well” 992. This time, though, it swaps the pinks for green and beige. The classy colorblocking is met with an equally classy gum-outsole. The sneaker is executed well, and it is worthy of the celebration that is JFG’s return to the retail world.

The “Every Now and Then” 992 is expected to launch this month, retail is expected to be $200.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
