Vans’ hit sneaker just got a little bolder.

The sneaker that took the footwear world by storm is meeting the sneaker that did the same thing a few years ago. First launched as part of Vans’ nautical pack in 2018, the Yacht Club Old Skool found an audience among sneakerheads in the early 2020s.

The easy wearability of the Old Skool, the bright colors, and the accessibility made it a hot sneaker. It reminded fans that Vans still had something to say to your footwear rotation. Now, almost a decade after the original pack first launched, the Yacht Club is getting the Pearlized treatment.

The collection that has taken the world by storm continues with its latest colorful entry. According to Vans, the sneaker is an “ode to endless exploration, inspired by sailing flags from around the world. Viewed through an Off The Wall lens, the latest expression blends nautical color blocking with the irreverent spirit of ‘90s sport style.”

In truth, the pair is a mashup of important Vans moments in recent times. From a time when the brand created a shoe that stood out from the pack to now: a time when Vans is making the shoes that lead the pack. And this sneaker is a colorful celebration of the change in the times.

The Vans Old Skool 36 Pearlized Yacht Club release is on September 10, 2026, via Vans.com and participating retailers like JD Sports.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
