El mas grande de México has a new home.

After months of anticipation, Chivas de Guadalajara and Nike have officially launched their partnership. The multi-year partnership sees Chivas return to Nike for the first time since their brief 1997 partnership.

Though that partnership ended abruptly, the 1997 Nike x Chivas Jersey remains one of the most sought-after vintage soccer jerseys in the secondary market. This reconnection builds on that legacy and promises years of commitment between the two sides.

“This partnership marks an important step in the evolution of our club,” says Amaury Vergara, President and Owner, Chivas de Guadalajara. “Nike brings a global perspective grounded in innovation and athlete service, and together we share a vision for the future while staying true to the identity that defines us as a club. We are focused on strengthening that connection with our millions of fans and continuing to inspire new generations who see themselves reflected in Chivas de Guadalajara and its legacy.”

With a legacy that needed to be honored, Nike delivered a classic home kit for the freshly started Apertura 2026-2027 season. The kit features the almost mandatory five stripes on the center design. It is balanced with a navy polo collar to create a kit worthy of starting a years-long partnership.

The Away kit comes in a classic white design. The traces of color on the kit come from a stylish gradient design that appears on the side stripes, Nike Swoosh, and the Chivas de Guadalajara crest. The kit sponsors’ colors also appear in this gradient design, creating a fluid look for Chivas’ games on the road.

Together with the home kit’s signature red-and-white expression, the away kit celebrates the red, white and blue that have become synonymous with the club’s identity, its connection to Mexican culture and generations of supporters.

Nike’s partnership with Chivas de Guadalajara reflects a focus on serving athletes at every level and helping elevate the women’s game. Through long-term investment in the sport, Nike is focused on advancing innovation, shaping football culture and creating new experiences for athletes and fans across the region and beyond.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
