Everyone’s favorite frog-like Pokémon is headlining another Pokémon TCG set.

Today, the Pokémon company has officially announced Chaos Rising- the latest expansion set in the TCG’s Mega Evolution era. The set is headlined by the long-leaked Mega Greninja card that first surfaced several months ago.

With the Japanese version of the set, Ninja Spinner, dropping tomorrow, the announcement of Chaos Rising was expected.

As far as Chaos Rising is concerned, the set is expected to be relatively small, with a total of 122 cards making up the set. The Mega Pokémon appearing in the set, along with Mega Greninja, include: Mega Pyroar, Mega Floette, Mega Dragalge ex, and Mega Gallade.

Chaos Rising’s top hit, the Mega Greninja Ex, will be part of a connecting-art trio of cards with its evolution line. All three of the cards are drawn by Susumu Maeya.

Even though the set is smaller than more recent Pokémon TCG sets, there is plenty of product expected to launch. Interestingly, the Pokémon Center exclusive Elite Trainer Box will feature different box art from the ETB that will be available at other retailers.

Aside from the ETBs, you can expect both three-pack and single-pack blisters. Booster Bundles are also expected to return for Chaos Rising.

According to Poke Beach, Chaos Rising will be one of the smallest English sets to release since 2010. Despite that, the inclusion of Greninja as the top hit will surely make this set one chased by Pokémon fans globally.

Chaos Rising is expected to launch on May 22nd. Explore the last Pokémon TCG product now via the SoleSavy Store.

The cards pictured in this post are from Ninja Spinner. They will be translated into English for Chaos Rising

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
