New Balance’s annual Grey Days celebration is finally here, and the 2026 collection will be the largest Grey Days celebration in the brand’s history.
Serving as the month-long tribute to the brand’s signature color, Grey Days unites New Balance’s renowned family of athletes with a full range of special-edition products, immersive experiences, and stories that honor the unique and timeless influence of grey.
Grey first entered the New Balance design language in the 1980s as a practical choice for urban runners. While competitors embraced neon hues and bright whites, New Balance introduced grey as a choice that blended seamlessly with the concrete and asphalt of city running. What started as a unique choice became a defining part of the brand, shaping its identity for decades.
Now, New Balance is celebrating its unique choice with footwear options for every type of sneaker fan. Runners will get a taste of Grey Day with the FuelCell Rebel v5. Meanwhile, the skateboard-ready Numeric Andrew Reynolds 993 will also make an appearance in the 2026 ‘Grey Day’ collection. Sneaker heads, too, will get plenty of opportunities to celebrate grey days. Whether it is with new models like the 2010, 2000, or the recently introduced 5030, there will be plenty of options for casual wear.
New Balance’s 2026 ‘Grey Days’ capsule is the brand at its boldest, as ironic as that may sound. The twelve-shoe collection truly shows the New England brand’s range. It also truly encapsulates the wide net the brand has been able to cast around the sneaker consciousness. Though it may look Grey, New Balance looks to continue to have brighter days ahead.
Select sneakers from the Grey Days collection will be available beginning on May 8th via Foot Locker, starting with the New Balance 2010.
The ‘Grey Days’ New Balance 2000 and 5030 will launch on May 15th, via Foot Locker.
