After linking up again last Fall for a trio of GT-2160s, JJJJound is tapping back into the Gel-Kayano 14. The duo originally linked up in 2022 to release a set of Kayano 14s that took over the world of sneakers. The August 2022 releases were the epitome of uniform wear- arriving in easy White/Black and White/White colorways. For their third partnership, though, JJJJound and ASICS are getting a little blue.

ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 II

Known for their uniformity, the white base and metallic silver are expected bases for a JJJJound collaborative ASICS sneaker. As they say, the devil is in the details- and the color details are ever present on this latest batch of Kayano 14s. The color choices remain versatile, though, as the first pair finds the aforementioned white mesh with metallic silver base contrasted by black debossed accents. Meanwhile, the pop of colors are found in a Midnight Navy tiger stripe that is complemented by a Midnight outsole with Vibrant Yellow. The second colorway feels reminiscent to the 2022 White/Black pair. This time though the pair replaces the Off-White with a traditional white- as well as introducing Baby Blue to the sock-liner as well as the midsole, tongue, and even the outsole.

The return to the Gel-Kayano 14 is one welcomed by fans. After all, it was JJJJound who just three years ago helped the model rise in the popularity it has enjoyed since then. The, at the time, niche sneaker found the sneaker space at the perfect change of the tide. After the pandemic, sneakerheads began to shift towards the retro-runners. The 2022 Gel-Kayano 14 collaborative capsule helped usher the fantastic run of popularity that ASICS has enjoyed. The classic look, and frankly the exclusivity of the sneakers, created a gateway for sneaker fans to dive into the world of Asics.

Since that 2022 collaboration, the Gel-Kayano 14 has become the face of casual sneakers for ASICS. It has become the template for other successful collaborations in the past few years. It was only right for JJJJound to make another splash with the Kayano 14.

The JJJound and ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 in White/Navy and White/Blue will release on Thursday, June 12th, at 11 am EST via JJJJound.com and select global retailers. The release will be met with high demand the SoleSavy DROPS app will be the best way to stay on track with the latest news and details on this highly anticipated release.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
