Cincinnati’s finest is back with their latest sneaker offering.

UNheardOf and Adidas’ partnership has blossomed into one of the best collaborations in sneakers. Whether it was Philip Lipschutz, founder of UNheardOf, celebrating his late sister with the “Erika’s Poem” Rivalry Low, honering the life lessons he was taught with the “Grandma’s Couch” Rivalry Low, or championing unity, growth and new adventures with the “Building Bridges” Rivalry Low, the connective storytelling has always been there. It has become a major reason for the success of Unheardof. The storytelling is authentic, relatable, and impossible to not root for.

Their upcoming collaboration with Adidas seems to be no exception. Originally releasing in 2005, the Adistar Cushion 3 was designed with long running in mind. Since returning a few years ago, in 2023, the Adistar Cushion 3 has found it’s place among the fashion-worlds return to the y2k aesthetic. The sneaker has seen successful collaborations with the likes of Sporty & Rich and Songs for the Mute, but neither seem to be as anticipated as the upcoming collaboration with UNhearOf.

After initially being teased last year, and experiencing a delay the brand so playfully announced, the sneaker is finally releasing this month. Affectionally named after the UNheardOf mascot, the “Pork Chop Piggy Runners” are the most vibrant of the collaborative efforts with Adidas yet. The aforementioned y2k runner is juxtaposed with vibrant hits of pink and red. The use of premium pig suede and pony hair is contrasted by the traditional usage of open mesh on runners. All in all, the sneaker is the perfect canvas for UNheardOf’s latest story.

The Pork Chop Piggy Runners are Philip Lipschutz and UNheardOf’s way of celebrating the underdog. It is a high-five to the kid who got picked on in class for being different. It is a victory lap for the kids who were made fun of for taking public transit. A yell in celebration to the kid who proved his rivals on the court or the track wrong. Projection aside, the sneaker wants to celebrate those who have overcome adversity, or being counted out by those around them. At a time where it feels like everything moves at a million miles a minute, the Piggy Runners want us celebrate the obstacles we have overcome.

The Pork Chop Piggy Runners are a breath of fresh air. At a time where seemingly every sneaker seems to have some sort of “story”, this pair has resonated in a way others often do not. If you ask die hard sneakerheads, it has always been easy to root for UNheardOf. Now, with their latest collaboration, they celebrate the underdog that is within all of us. And that is an easy story to get behind.

The UNheardOf x Adistar Cushion 3 releases via Unheardofbrand.com on March 29th for $185. The pair is expected to be limited to 1,500 units.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
