The long-awaited AE2 colorway will arrive at the end of the Timberwolves’ regular season.

Anthony Edwards will make one last push to secure their spot in the Western Conference Playoffs on Sunday, and adidas Basketball is celebrating the Superstar’s final home game in style.

The “Glow Green” colorway is a long time coming. Previously released in Asia, the sneaker has been sought after by ballers and sneakerheads alike. In November, Anthony Edwards sported the Glow Green AE2s, swapping the laces to match the glowing green accents.

Now, that special colorway will finally launch at retailers. Edwards, who is averaging a respectable 29 points a game this season, will lead the Timberwolves in their final regular-season match-up on April 12th.

The Wolves, who as of this writing have a three-game cushion over the 7th seed Suns, will likely end the season comfortably in that sixth seed spot. Which would, of course, mean the team would advance directly into the playoffs and avoid the play-in game.

The AE2 line has built its success on its predecessor, the AE1, which disrupted the performance basketball market last season. The AE2 faced the challenge of competing with its predecessor, and it has succeeded with great colorways and another strong season from Edwards on the court.

This Glow Green colorway feels symbolic on many fronts. Not only will it be the last colorway to launch during the regular season, but it will propel Edwards and the Timberwolves into their fifth postseason appearance since he was drafted. The flashes of green feel representative of Edwards’ style of play on the court and the spark Edwards has brought to the league.

The  “Glow Green” AE2 launches on Sunday, April 12th, via Foot Locker and participating adidas Basketball retailers.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
