Update: February 17th, 2026

Just days after launching via Union’s site, the Fragment collaborative Air Jordan 1 now has a release date for a wider release via SNKRS.

The Black and Varsity Red colorway will launch on February 27th via the Nike SNKRS App. Meanwhile, raffles have opened for the Royal colorway- you can find more details via the SoleSavy DROPS app.

The SNKRS launch will surely generate a large amount of entries, but it is likely still the best option to grab the sneaker for those who may have missed out.

Update: February 11th, 2026

Finally, the news we have all been waiting for.

Union has finally confirmed that their highly anticipated collaboration will launch via raffle on Saturday.

The release is expected to follow the same raffle method as last year’s Air Jordan 1 collaboration. This time, of course, the difference is that several colorways will be available for purchase via raffle.

Union’s raffle will open at 11 AM EST on Saturday, February 14th.

Update: February 4th, 2026

Union has finally confirmed the official launch date for this highly anticipated collaboration.

The collection, over a year in the making, will launch on Valentine’s Day- February 14th, starting at 8 AM PST.

At this time, it is expected to launch via a raffle, much like last year’s Air Jordan 1 collaboration.

Update: February 1st, 2026

Today, we have learned which sneaker retailers will be carrying the Black/White colorway of the highly anticipated collaboration between Fragment and UNION LA on the Air Jordan 1.

Previously believed to be a pair exclusive to Japan, this colorway will, in fact, be released globally after all.

The stores that will be launching the pair include Undefeated in New York, Headquarters in Mexico City, Fragment in Tokyo, Starcow in Paris, and Kasina in Seoul.

Be sure to follow those stores’ social media accounts for more details on the release in the coming days.

Update: January 28th, 2026

We now have official images of the Black/White-Varsity Red-Sport Royal colorway of the upcoming Union x Fragment X Air Jordan 1 High.

The sneaker, along with a second colorway, is slated to drop in North America in February. The third colorway, as previously mentioned, will be exclusive to Japan.

The collection will also feature apparel that features branding from Jordan Brand, Union Los Angeles, and Fragment. The apparel collection is centered around a white T-shirt that features both Union Los Angeles and Fragment branding on the sleeve. The long-sleeve shirt, similarly, features the brand’s logos- this time, though, along the chest.

From an outerwear perspective, the apparel collection features a black hoodie with branding on the back. A long-sleeve jersey with giant “AIR” along the front of the jersey. Rounding out the collection is a pair of black mesh shorts with Fragment branding along the left front as well as zipper pockets.

This story will be updated as more release details develop.

Update: January 16th, 2026

A landing page has surfaced for the upcoming Union x Fragment x Air Jordan Collaboration.

By visiting unionjordanfragment.com, you can find details about the upcoming launch of this highly anticipated collaboration. The release is expected to be launched via a draw raffle just like their collaboration did last year. Though it is unclear exactly when the launch will occur, it is likely to happen within the first week of February.

One of 2026’s most anticipated releases is already on the horizon.

Expected to release in February of 2026, a year after Union’s last collaboration on the Air Jordan 1, the beloved partnership will introduce Hiroshi Fujiwara and Fragment Design into the mix.

This trio connecting for a collaboration was a long time coming. Rumors first surfaced about the project in late 2024. A few weeks after the aforementioned ‘Chicago’ Union 1 was released, Fujiwara began wearing the Fragment Design interpretations, subtly confirming the collaboration was indeed on the way.

As time has gone by, Fujiwara has continued to flex his muscles by showing off the three sneakers that are expected to be featured in this highly anticipated collaboration. The collaboration was finally officially acknowledged this past weekend.

We have previously discussed the return of regional sneaker releases, and this upcoming collaboration between Union, Fragment, and Air Jordan is expected to follow that release method.

According to reports, the White and Black colorway, which is pictured at the bottom of the magazine cover, is expected to release exclusively in Japan. The other two colorways, though, are expected to receive a wider release. That said, stock numbers seem to be pretty low for the entire collection, with allegedly 4,700 pairs of the Japan exclusive, 15,000 pairs of the Blue colorway, and 44,000 pairs of the red pair, respectively.

Regardless of stock numbers, the impending launch will be met with plenty of fanfare. No matter the stock numbers, the Union and Fragment connection on the Air Jordan 1 will surely be one of the most coveted launches of 2026.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
